Flute
Daniel Velasco, flute professor at the University of Kansas, is first-prize winner of the National Flute Association’s Young Artist, WAMSO – Minnesota Orchestra, Claude Monteux, and MTNA competitions. He is a founding member of the NuDeco Ensemble and a Yamaha Artist. His teachers include Angeleita Floyd (BM), Marianne Gedigian (MM), Amy Porter (Specialist) and Trudy Kane (DMA). His debut album, Flauta Andina, will be released on the Naxos Label in August 2022.
