Yes, IDRS rules for artist participation are below:
Our goal is to notify artists by mid February, 2022.
IDRS 2022 conference will provide collaborative pianists and supporting musicians. Artists have the option to bring their own collaborative musicians. Carpe Diem String Quartet will be in-residence at the IDRS 2022 Conference.
If your program calls for collaboration with a string quartet, and you have requested for a string quartet, the host will assign Carpe Diem String Quartet to perform with you. If Carpe Diem is not available, the host will provide professional musicians to accommodate your request.
The policy of IDRS restricts hosts from paying any artists, other than official collaborative artists, to perform at the conference. Artists may be sponsored by businesses, non-profits, and educational organizations. Sponsorship acknowledgments will be published in the conference program following the strict guidelines for sponsorship by IDRS.
