Pearl Street Mall
Walk along our unique pedestrian mall and enjoy a great selection of restaurants, craft stores, boutiques and sidewalk cafes. Also popular are the seasonal art shows and street performers who entertain enthusiastic crowds with their antics. Let Bongo craft an original creation out of his colorful supply of balloons, challenge the Zip Code Man to guess your hometown just by telling him your zip, or watch the ultra-flexible contortionist fold his body into a small box.

On and Near Campus
One of the many benefits of visiting a college town is getting to enjoy all the activities it has to offer. Whether you’re up for a game of tennis, a few sets of bowling or a trip through the cosmos, you will likely find something to suit your mood.
Rec Center
Over 300,000 square feet of recreation space is available to conference guests with the purchase of a daily or weekly pass. The pass includes fitness equipment, basketball, tennis and racquetball courts, a climbing wall, swimming pools and an ice rink.
Outdoors
Outdoor green spaces, sand volleyball courts and sports fields are available for informal group activities or just for some frisbee and Colorado sunshine. You can rarely beat the weather in Boulder and we have plenty of places to enjoy it.
Performing Arts
Concerts, plays and film series occur throughout the year, and summer includes both indoor and outdoor performances. Information and a schedule of events can be found on the Attractions and Performances page.
Fiske Planetarium
In the Fiske Planetarium, you can take in a star talk, fulldome film, concert or even a laser show. Fiske offers a huge screen, dazzling visuals and a fantastic sound system. Visit the planetarium website for details.
The Connection
Located at the University Memorial Center (UMC), The Connection offers bowling, billiards and games to the campus community, including conference guests! You can grab some snacks, play some games (including XBOX One, PS4, Wii), enjoy pinball, foosball or just catch the latest sporting event on TV.
